Frances Hodgkins is a well known New Zealand artist. She didn’t like to have her photo taken and she never painted a traditional self portrait. Instead she gathered together her favourite things, like scarves, shoes, belts, jewellery and flowers and painted these as a self-representation.

At the moment retro sets of 3 Flying Ducks are having a comeback so the children created their our own set of 3 Flying Birds. They chose any bird and then created it in 3 different sizes or some chose to make one type of bird in 3 different poses. They will look great, hanging as a set, on a wall.
