YEAR 1-8 CHILDREN – Painting
Over the centuries many artists have been inspired to paint sunflowers. In this class the children painted their own version of “Sunflowers”. They had the opportunity to use modelling paste to create a textured surface on which to paint.
YEAR 7-8 CHILDREN ONLY – Raggy Quilts
This is always a very popular class with the Year 7 and 8 children, in which they get to make their very own raggy quilts. Mrs McAdams, a teacher and highly experienced quilter, is the teacher for this class.
The children learnt:

- Sewing Machine safety
- To sew accurately
- To design, layout & construct their own quilt
Here are some of the girls with their lovely, snuggly quilts:
YEAR 1-8 CHILDREN – Sculpture – Clocks
In this class the children imagined that they were a set designer for a favourite movie. Their task was to design a clock to be part of the movie set. The created clocks had a clock mechanism and a battery so that they really worked.
Can you work out which clock belongs to which movie set?
