YEAR 1-8 CHILDREN – Landscapes Heather Galler Style
In this class the children looked at the work of folk artist, Heather Galler. Using vivids and fabric dye they created a farmscape. They learnt about using one point perspective to show distance and how to draw 3D buildings.

Back by popular demand 4 lucky children made a Xmas table setting which will become an heirloom for your family. The children made the stunning centre piece and 6 matching table mats. Their finished settings look amazing:
YEAR 1-8 CHILDREN – Designing Stamps
In this class the children looked at stamps and the different components that need to be included in the design brief of a stamp. Then they choose a theme and designed a set of New Zealand stamps which they then created in fine sharpie and watercolours. Here are their finished stamp sets:
YEAR 7-8 CHILDREN ONLY – Sewing – Crazy Patch Bags
Everyone loves bags so in this class the children made a “Crazy Patch Block” that they added embellishments to before making it into a bag. The bag is fully lined and has pockets on the inside. The children had a go at free motion quilting on the reverse side of the bag. Here are the finished bags:
